Billows Protocol was established in 1952 as the Production Tooling Company Ltd to design products for manufacturers. Many of the early customers were in the printing industry and gradually the company started to specialise in the design and manufacture of register equipment for the printing industry. Billows Protocol products include Plate Punches, Plate Benders and recently we have included a range of automated equipment to punch and bend plates from CTP machines.

Over the years the company had often made products for the PCB industry and in 1990 it was decided to launch a new range of products for this sector. Billows Protocol is now a world leader in the design and manufacture of Post Etch Punches and registration machines for PCB manufacturers.
